Jin knows not from where he originates what he does know is that a childish couple found him at the bottom of a crater which had only recently been created by some sort of rock from the heavens. This childish couple were poor but, morale famers who did whatever they could to help those in need and one day a man came to them explaining that he desperately needed their land to build a mighty fortress to defend the kingdom from the evils in the swamps to the south. The couple had to refuse as they knew without their meagre farm that the nearby villages would lose a valuable resource which kept many families going throughout the winter. The man simply looked out into the fields and said “Die” and the crops began to whither. Jin looked upon the desperate faces of his parents and knew he had to set off immediately to find a cure. During his search he cam upon a monastery and asked within for help. Help he found in a monk named Hao Shu and the meditative techniques imparted by the other monks. These techniques revealed the cause of the dying crops and told Jin how to fix it he immediately set out to find the wizard responsible. Along this road he encountered an elf named Visha who taught him something about the wilds and a warrior woman named Xena who knew of an evil undead wizard in the area. Together the three of them found this wizard. They managed to stop him from completing the ritual he had been performing which seemed to strengthening the illusion magic he had used to make all the plants appear to be dying while also laying the groundwork for something more sinister. It came as a shock to them all but, especially to Jin when the wizard “died” and was revealed to be a reflection of Jin’s true self.
Not actually related, an old friend of fathers, Hakan is a trader extrodinaire who can get anything from anywhere. Smells of pipe smoke all the time.
Village blacksmith, an old adventurer who studied under dwarven smith, a grandfather type figure. He has a huge beard and even huger muscles, proudly embellished every adventuring story he tells. i.e “this troll must have been 10, no 12 ft high!!”
The great tree spirit that taught Jin how to be a druid and bargained a cure for the cleansing of his home for planting a seed in the forest near his home.
Living rock with a love of music, if its in the earth Olm knows something of it.
Emil the Lost
A hermit who is cursed to wander the earth and can never find his way, knows where he’s been though. Can walk around the world without crossing the Ocean.
Elven ranger, shared a camp and developed a friendship. A very good guide.
Orshek the Bear
A giant of a goliath who leads a band of bandits, humiliated by Jin.
A Shol a Seth
A malignant, intellect bound to a lone rock out in the wilderness, sought to trick Jin into releasing it, managed to get partially released.
Corrupt bear spirit that has claimed Jin as his prey.
