Outcast by her influential family for not being like them, Visha grew up on the streets and in the dungeons of Port Ryard (the capitol of Balifor) and quickly learned to fend for herself. She is searching for a way to make a reputation and be accepted by her family once more. One evening while searching for foodstuffs and other supplies in the wilderness near Port Ryard Visha encountered a group of bandits lead by a tall man in solid obsidian armour. Although a valiant fight was fought Visha was kidnapped by these bandits and transported to Gilstan where she was stored in a warehouse with several other kidnap victims. After approximately a week in captivity and while the ringleader was away a large metal beast invaded the building and Visha escaped with some others during the ensuing confusion.
Once she had escaped she made her way down into the sewers of Gilstan and beyond into a very old ruin beneath the city and hid out for awhile. On a forage trip came across a minotaur who was surrounded and outnumbers by ghouls. Visha who by this time was tired of hiding appeared from out of the shadows and in a flurry of steel evened the numbers considerably. After the battle, Terios for that was the name of this strange minotaur that worshipped a human deity, promised to Visha a debt of gratitude to be called upon during a time of great need.
Unbeknownst to Visha it was her family that ordered Hao Shu to kill a woman named Jessica. The family still hold a grudge against Hao Shu for he is one of the few in this world that is against them and yet knows their secrets. Hao Shu believes that helping Visha in her own quests will help restore balance to the universe.
Telios – after their battle against the ghouls.
Ravena – a Squatter in the warehouse. She helped Visha escape.
Ruaan – Visha’s best friend from the days before She was banished. They had many ‘adventues’ together as children. He has been trying to find her ever since
Molka – pickpocket. Lives rough on the streets of Port Ryard. Always knows everyone’s business.
Lysander – a market stall vender who is in love with Visha (sadly, an unrequited love) and would do anything for her. He always gives her food from his stall on the sly when his father isn’t around to catch him
‘The Ancient One’ – a mysterious man who seems to have been around since the dawn of time. He wears a big black hooded robe. His face can’t be seen except for the slight glint of his eyes and a long wooden pipe poking out from the darkness, a small spiral of magenta smoke floating from it’s tip. He rarely speaks unless he has something of vital importance to say, his cryptic comments are almost prophetic. His presence brings an unsettling sense of both security and danger.
Firvan Daeloth – Visha’s Father. A well respected Elf within his community. It was on his authority that Visha was banished
Elrith Daeloth – Visha’s Mother. She obeys Firvan although she doesn’t always agree with him. Visha considers her an enemy but Elrith is forever haunted by not standing up to her husband and letting her daughter go.
Cadmar – Human from Port Ryard. He discovered that Visha was secretly living in his basement and was not best pleased about it.
